Al Miles ran in 2015 as the Federal Conservative Candidate in Hamilton Mountain, and is a long-time native Hamiltonian. He has spent nearly all his life living on Hamilton Mountain where his family has a history of involvement in the local community. Al is married to Nan. They have a son Drew who is married to Joyce with two children (Micah and Hannah) and a daughter Lindsay who is married to Jason. He attends his local Church. He has also volunteered at Barton and MacNab High Schools with their after-school activities.
Al has a great deal of experience working with today’s at-risk youth, and has been a Child and Youth Worker for established treatment facilities for nearly 25 years. While Al was a union member for OPSEU Local 213, he was an important Health and Safety Committee member who fought to ensure that policy put into place benefited employees and all those in their care.
Al Miles who has deep local roots intends to tackle issues relating to Hamilton Mountain. Al looks forward to connecting with members of our community to deliver results.
